Homemade Mayonnaise
Once you’ve tried our recipe for homemade mayonnaise, you’ll never go back to the store-bought stuff again! Not only does it taste better, it’s also preservative free. The key ingredients here are the egg yolks. They give the mayonnaise it’s silky texture and flavor so go for the best quality ones you can find (free range, organic are our choice).
Typically egg whites are favored by proponents of the health belief model, but most of the nutritional value is actually found in the yolks. Vitamins A, D, B and E, as well as most of the protein content is, believe it or not, contained in the yolks!
In general, eggs are also a great source of phosphorus, selenium and vitamins B12, B2 and B5. They also contain a significant amount of potassium, magnesium, calcium and thiamin.   • 10 egg yolks
  • 1 dcl. olive oil
  • Juice of ½ a lime
  • 1 tbsp. mustard
  • Add the egg yolks and pepper to the MixSy container
  • Start to mix using the MixSy and gradually add the olive oil, continuously mixing the entire time
  • Add the mustard and lime and combine with a few final blends
