Presentation
New Santoku damascus steel kitchen knife from Solingen Zepter. It is characterized by the perfect balance of the steel blade and the blade made with additional support, dark access.
Santoku knives derived from Japanese cuisine, distinguished by the shape and size of the blade. The wood handle is designed to make the art of cooking for an amateur and a chef. Now it works well for cutting any meat, fish, citta fruit. A unique power plant emits electrification, cutting, slicing, filleting - whatever you can think of. Thanks to its universal shape, this kitchen knife repairs perfectly for everyday use. Chefs say that the weight of the knife, which is their main working tool, is very much a parameter. The knife should not be too heavy and it is very important to keep it in balance. It should be cut straight, hence the great precision of the workmanship of the Felix brand
The new collection of Felix® SMOKED OAK knives.
If you ask the chef what is essential in the kitchen, the answer is: a reliable kitchen knife. Smoked oak knives are a benchmark of quality, characterized by the perfect balance between a cold, sharp blade and a wooden handle that radiates warmth and elegance. When slicing, the food does not stick to the blade which is polished to a high gloss
UNIQUE STEEL BLADE
The blade of the Santoku Felix Solingen kitchen knife is made of X50 CrMoV15 steel. This alloy guarantees permanent edge retention and corrosion resistance. It is also the type of steel that is used in surgical instruments. The blade of a kitchen knife is handcrafted from a single piece of steel, then polished to a high gloss, which significantly improves its aesthetic value. On the other hand, its shape prevents the food from sticking to the blade when cutting.
COMFORTABLE HANDLE
The uniqueness of this kitchen knife is influenced by the oak handle. Oak wood is characterized by a rich texture saturated with characteristic dark rings that indicate the longevity of the tree, its durability and strength. The same can be said about Smoked Oak knives, thanks to which you will prepare thousands of dishes in your kitchen! The luxurious dark color of the handle is created in a special smoking process, which also provides better resistance to the material and a delicate structure that provides a perfect grip for more precise cutting.
SOLINGEN FELIX®
FELIX® is a company with tradition and one of the oldest knife manufacturers. It has been producing cutlery since 1790. Karl Gustav FELIX founded the company Gustav Felix Schneidwarenfabrik in 1843, establishing a two-century legacy of craftsmanship, the production of knives known worldwide for their extraordinary quality. In 2012, the FELIX® Solignen brand joined the ZEPTER International brand portfolio, perfectly complementing the portfolio with these timeless products. As a descendant of the owner says, "Traditionally, FELIX® knives are handcrafted by our craftsmen, who for over 230 years have passed from master to apprentice the secrets of making perfect knives. If a good knife is everyone's most important tool, why settle for anything less than perfect?

RESPONSIBILITY AND SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION
Wood for production is obtained only from European; German and Spanish forests, and suppliers have FSC certificates. The material for the handle is naturally dried for a long time in Germany under the supervision of qualified craftsmen. The smoking process of the wood from which the handles are made has not changed for decades. As a result, the wood not only becomes more durable, but also all bacteria and microorganisms are killed by smoking. The German steel used in the production of the blade is delivered from suppliers whose headquarters and production plants are near Solingen. As a result, we obtain raw material of excellent quality at a minimum cost of delivery, and so we reduce CO2 emissions. Such tools are behind our centuries-old tradition.
KNIFE WITH HISTORY
In most homes, there is an item that has served for generations and passed from grandparents or parents to children. We propose that such an object should be a knife. With proper use, Solingen kitchen knives will last for decades. For this to happen, maybe they should be washed by hand, and the handle oiled with linseed oil, which penetrates and strengthens the water resistance of the wood used. Steel should be sharpened professionally. However, should something disturbing happen to your Felix Solingen knife, please do not hesitate to contact the service. Solingen Felix knives are covered by a 5-year warranty, which allows Zepter to take full care of the product.
